The exhaust system on the 2.4L and 2.7L engine models consists of a front mounted catalytic converter, single outlet resonator/muffler assembly, band clamp, and support isolators. The upstream oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. The downstream oxygen sensor is located in the catalytic converter.

The exhaust system on the 3.5L engine models consists of a front mounted catalytic converter, dual outlet resonator/muffler assembly, band clamp, and support isolators. The upstream oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. The downstream oxygen sensor is located in the catalytic converter.
